a reason to live

some people,
just live for their selves
forget others as long as they're happy

some people,
live for others
dedicating even sometimes sacrificing
their selves, their desire, and their happiness
an altruist

some people,
live for their dreams.
they always look toward to the sky,
can't wait to see what will tomorrow bring.

some people,
live only for the moment.
forget the past, not worrying about tomorrow
cherish every moment
work hard, play hard(er)

some people,
spent their life seeking for
love of their life
but sometimes they forget how to love themselves
and how to love others who's been by their side all of the time

some people,
live just because they have to.
just for the ride


yes, people may choose what reason they live for

but then i came across these beautiful words:

tatoe ashita, chikyuu ga horobiru tomo, kyou kimi wa ringo no ki o ueru

"even if tomorrow the world will perish, today, you plant an apple tree"
